The greatest enemy of the management of your company is waste. Waste can take many forms and come in all shapes and sizes. Debris that can be found in almost any business, no matter how big or small. The aim is to keep looking and improving every time the opportunity arises. You can not be happy with good enough and must always be ready to seek new ideas and new thought processes.

This is why it is so important to everyone involved in the process. Anybody in business can have an idea or a thought that nobody else has thought. If you have any ideas from different angles and from different angles, you have a better chance of finding a solution that would not have been considered in the past.

For example, if you have a problem that needs to be resolved, and four different people will give you the opportunity to try to solve the problem, most likely will have four different solutions. But if you take these four people and placed them in a team to study the problem and find a solution for it, you get the best ideas from all combined and a completely different solution. Having a team to tackle any problem can often lead to different solutions due to different viewpoints and perspectives.

It is also important to get people for your team from different parts of the process. If you are looking to improve a manufacturing process, then you need to bring in team member’s form all the different parts of the process. You need team members from upstream, which are those that are directly affected and team members from downstream, which are those that directly affect you.

Thus, all points of view during the process represents. It is also necessary that different members from different areas of management of the pool. You need to engage senior management, middle management and the plant people to participate.

The idea behind this is again to get perspectives from the entire spectrum of the process. When you get everybody involved, you are more likely to get different ideas and different points of views. Also, by getting more people involved, you give them more ownership in the decision process and they are more likely to accept any changes that they are involved in making.

    Direct Sales Marketing Training: How to Sky Rocket Direct Sales Profits by 50% With Two Simple Words

    A number days ago I received a call from a prospective client who had been prospected into a travel business while at the grocery store.  Intrigued by the concept and spurred on by her love for travel she quickly enrolled.  She did the usual 48 hour follow up with her upline where they 3-wayed a number of people.  After a few hours of this they parted ways.  Her uplines admonition was to enroll at least 1000 people per year, because come December 31st, of the 1000 she enrolled, only 300 will survive.

    One of the Deadliest Mistakes many direct sales consultants and direct selling business owners make in their business is lack of follow-up!  This deadly mistake is tied to misconception that you are not selling, you are just sharing! Direct Sales is the business.  Direct Selling, with they key word being selling is the name of the game.  Home parties is the avenue by which these sales are made.

    You have all heard this one before, The fortune is in the Follow – Up!  I have a good friend, involved in Mary Kay, a formidable direct selling company.  She  has been driving a Pink Cadillac longer than I care to remember.  But this article is certainly not about Pink Cadillacs, plush velvel seats and cruising down the streets on a Saturday night!  What is impressive about this soon to be National sales director is how loyal her customers are to her and her direct sales business.  Get this, she has a 90% retention rate going on 21 years!

    Want to know the secret to her success?  I bet you do!  Its’ called follow up and follow through!  It is called validation, it is called appreciation! And boy is she good at it!  Kudos Nancy Sutherland, Mary-Kay Sales Director!

    According to Dun and Bradstreet, the single, most important reason for the failure of businesses in America is lack of sales. And, of course, this refers to resales as well as initial sales. So your job as a direct sales consultant is to create and keep a customer.

    No matter how massive or how limitted your marketing budget, (by The Way this is a nother deadly home party business mistake, not having a marketing budget) you cannot afford to be without this powerful, inexpensive, relationship building tool.  We shall call it a thank you letter and/or thank-you card!

    Writing thank you cards and noted need not be an overdrawn process. Thank-you it is said, is the mark of an educated individual.For the price of a stamp, a card and well written let’s say 25-50 words you stand to make a killing!

    Sending business thank you notes is an efficient, inexpensive way to:

    1). Turn one-time buyers into loyal lifetime customers.  It is also a great way to shorten the intervals between purchases! If you struggle to find thank you messages to write in cards just hop onto the internet, you will find may a template!

    2). Business thank you cards or letters will increase your customer referrals. Every bit of business referred costs you nothing in advertising or sales commissions.  Now how is that for increasing sales by 50% without increasing your marketing budget?

    Direct Sales Marketing Success Tip: When you receive referrals, be sure to send a thank you note as well as a gift!  What a lovely way to say thank you and evern better promote your home party company products.  Just make the gift appropriate to the recipient.

    3). For direct sales business,  we all know that the summer months tend to be the slowest.  Think of your thank you notes and cards as off season marketing. Hallmark, the card company implemented one such method with outstanding results.  They sent out some coupons with their thank you messages and boy they had some of the highest grossing sales in the months of June, July and August and get this for Christmas stuff!

    4) Seth Godin, well known author and uber marketer says “ideas that spread, win!”  How true.  Sending a card or a note is so unconventional you are bound to create a buzz.  Now this is what we call word of mouth.  Direct Mail messages consistently beat all other marketing avenues. Why?  Because direct mail pieces have a long shelf life.  I may not act upon it now, but how many of you have kept cards and advertorials with the intention of getting to it only to forget.  Then one day you are pleasantly surprised to find it and act upon it immediately? Get the edge over your competition and keep your name in front of decision makers eyes and records.

    MLM Training Series: 5 Keys to Build Residual Income With Networking Marketing

    Network marketing or MLM is an excellent strategy to build long-term residual income. Residual income is generated by the ongoing sales to loyal customers in your network marketing organization. Therefore, the key to generating residual income is to build a large base of satisfied customers. Here are the five most important keys to achieving this goal.

    1. Lead Capture Page

    The purpose of capturing the name and email address of your leads is to build a relationship with these prospects. Make your lead capture page’s headline powerful. Each headline should attract your readers to want to know more and why they should subscribe to ‘earn money fast online ‘ list. Bullet point what you will offer. You may also want to give out a free report that will compel them to subscribe.

    2. Auto Follow Up System

    Imagine if your business comes to a point where you are generating 1,000s of leads per day! You would not be able to follow up with each one of them on your own. So what you would need is an auto responder that will automatically follow up with your prospects.

    3. Find a company with a deep and wide compensation plan

    For residual income, you want to be able to build a deep downline. The best compensation plan for residual income is one that gives you increasing commission on at least 5 levels. You also want to be able to build it as wide as you like to accommodate a large base of retail customers.

    4. Lifelong Traffic

    There are many ways to drive traffic to your lead capture page. However I always advise network marketers to spend time on traffic methods that will continue to generate itself for many years to come. One of this lifelong traffic method is article marketing. Try to write and submit at least 5 articles per week. Each article should be of 300-600 words length. By submitting articles consistently, you will generate as many as 100 leads per day and you will be generating a fruitful MLM residual income in just a matter of months.

    5. Add retail customers by marketing your products

    Don’t lead with your business opportunity, because chances are you don’t have on yet. Instead, learn how to market your product to the right target market. This is actually much easier than recruiting and keeping new distributors. Once you have acquired that skill, and developed marketing tools for your product, you are now in a great position to transition from retail to residual income.

    Surviving in this business is tough for many. However don’t give up and just be determined. Start implementing the three steps above and you’re already on your way to your freedom ticket with a rewarding MLM residual income paycheck.     MLM Success Training: 7 Sins of Article Marketing

    If you are going to take the time to write and post an article you really want to make sure you are seeing some kind of return on your time investment. To ensure your article marketing is effective as possible you will want to avoid these seven deadly sins.

    Sin #1: Article Marketing outside the context of a larger marketing strategy. In other words many are putting the cart before the horse. The main purpose of article marketing is to secure backlinks to your primary blog or website.

    Your secondary purpose is to establish your credibility and position yourself as a leader. Lastly you may drive some traffic to your site. However… building your blog or websites reputation with the search engines should be your primary objective. Why? Because search engines deliver free traffic to quality sites and one of the main factors they use to determine if your site it worthy is incoming links aka backlinks.

    Sin #2: Linking your articles directly to affiliate programs or sites that redirect to them. First off no one likes to be manipulated especially in such an obvious way. It instantly puts a negative connotation in the minds of your prospects never mind the fact it is highly ineffective anyway.

    This also brings us back to Sin #1. Search engines are not going to start ranking your affiliate site because it has a few incoming links. Secondly, you simply aren’t going to drive the amount of traffic you need to be successful this way. You have to think bigger.

    Imagine for a moment you have a website of your own that receives ten thousand visitors a day from the major search engines. Now you can direct that traffic to your affiliate programs, prepackaged MLM sites or anywhere else you like!

    So your goal should always be to build a business (website or blog) that generates its own free traffic, free leads, retail sales etc…

    Sin #3: Regurgitating “MLM Gurus” information. Everyone already knows what they have to say about attraction marketing and so on… Nothing makes you look more unprofessional than being a second rate version of a true MLM Leader.

    Be a first rate version of yourself! Establish yourself as a leader by being uniquely you, sharing original ideas and expressing yourself genuinely. You bring something to the table…find YOUR voice. Develop your own business plan, marketing strategy and business philosophy.

    If your spiritual than own it and incorporate it into your message! If you’re aggressive, sarcastic, critical… just be yourself. You aren’t going to become a leader by just being another follower of the “gurus” in this industry.

    Sin #4: Submitting One big block of text. Seriously you can learn all the HTML you need to know in about fifteen minutes anywhere on the Internet. White space is beautiful. You can only hear sound against the backdrop of silence. It is the same thing with reading.

    One huge block of text is like an assault on the eyes. The only response you will ever get is the dreaded backspace button.

    Sin #5: The pitch disguised as a pitch! Effective article marketing is designed to be informative and valuable to its readers. Unfortunately no one cares about your opportunity. I know, I know…that’s all you really want to talk about but you do want to eventually make money at this right?

    At least attempt to disguise your pitch as valuable content. Even better…deliver real content that helps your reader! In fact if you can truly deliver excellent information there will be no need for a pitch at all. Your prospects will ask you for information. Why? Because they will know that you are in a position to help them.

    This industry is in desperate need of true leadership. Establish yourself as someone who can actually help and you will no longer need to pitch anything.

    Sin #6: Not giving your readers a way of contacting you. MLM’ers are a savvy bunch. They know the ins and outs of the business and most don’t want to become your “lead.” Now this goes against everything you have ever been taught but…lead capture pages are genius in most industries but in ours they might just keep you from seeing the success you are looking for.

    Are you really looking for a lead or are you looking for business partners? Business partners want to contact you, ask questions, make proposals…not get a free report on MLM tips.

    For example…when I come across a good article I immediately do research on the writer and check out a couple of their other articles. If I find them valuable and our business philosophies match I reach out to request an interview for my site. Free promotion for them, value for my visitors sounds like a win win.

    But if all I can find is a lead capture page then this person lost an opportunity to promote their business. Therefore I suggest you ensure you’re not losing business by establishing a way people can contact you.

    Sin #7: NO SEO. In business you should constantly be looking to accomplish multiple objectives at once. We already mentioned two or three of your article marketing objectives for MLM success. Your main objective should be to get your primary website into search engine results but it doesn’t hurt to get your article there as well.

    In fact the higher your article page rank the more “juice” your link will have to your blog or website. Therefore you will want to incorporate a little white hat SEO into your article layout. Your article should be designed around a single keyword or select few. The title, first 90 characters, last paragraph and even link should contain your keyword as well as disbursing it throughout your copy.

    Another tip would be to link one article to another article. In this way you build the credibility of the second article and the power of its link back to your home site.
